I am an environmental scientist from Argentina and a Fulbright Scholar, driven by the goal of designing innovative solutions for environmental challenges. With over seven years of experience at the intersection of science and public policy, I currently serve as the Director of the Environmental Department for a city of 300,000 people. In this role, I lead large-scale initiatives ensuring proper waste management, conducting water quality examinations, and promoting environmental education across the community.
My professional journey has taught me that environmental issues cannot be solved in isolation. They require an interdisciplinary approach that combines technical rigor with systems thinking. During my time in the public sector, I have focused on building bridges between public and private initiatives, striving to create policies that enable sustainable development while remaining practical and achievable.
At Rice University, my academic objective is to strengthen my expertise in financial, analytical, and leadership skills. I am particularly interested in developing frameworks that create "enabling conditions" and incentives to influence investors' decision-making toward environmental innovations. I believe that understanding the relationship between environmental science and finance is key to solving sustainable territorial issues in emerging economies like mine.
I thrive in collaborative, multicultural environments and value the opportunity to tackle complex, real-world problems through diverse perspectives. My goal is to return to Argentina as a leader in environmental management, equipped with the statistical, modeling, and communication tools necessary to mobilize resources and design impactful policies.

Fun Fact about me:
One of my goals in life is to visit every National Park in Argentina. They are 42 and I already went to 10.
