I am pursuing a PhD in Finance and my research interests focus on asset pricing models and macrofinance. Likewise, with my future research I am interested in helping to improve the financial system in my country of origin and detecting and correcting the flaws that exist.
On Rice and Houston:
What I like most about Rice is the tight-knit community and the opportunity to meet people from different cultures. Also, the large number of events that are held help us to learn a little more about their traditions.
What I like most about Houston is its gastronomic offer, derived from the large number of cultures that live here, this is reflected in the variety of restaurants and places to eat. Although I think it is important to be prepared for the weather in summer!!!
On Fulbright:
As the saying goes, I came looking for silver and I found gold. When I joined Rice, I did not expect such a pleasant and warm welcome and the number of events and activities that take place each semester. I have also liked meeting such outstanding people in the Fulbright group in different areas and who always help to know and learn something new!
Fun Fact:
I am huge Dragon Ball fan!
