Max is a Ph.D. student in the Materials Science & Nanoengineering department at Rice University. He obtained his B.S. in Nanotechnology Engineering at the Polytechnic University of the Valley of Mexico in June 2024. He is also an Opportunity Funds 2023-2024 alumnus, as well as a SECIHTI fellow. His research previously entailed nanotechnology-based wearable devices, and is now focused on the development of in vitro platforms for Alzheimer’s Disease. When he is not in the lab, he enjoys swimming, playing videogames (RPGs / single player story games), playing piano, photography , as well as an ongoing vinyl collection!
