I am an afroecuadorian student from Quito with Chota's Valley ascendence. I have been part of several social and human rights organizations at local, national and international levels and led projects focused on education and development. My main research interest is to understand the role of NGO's and international organizations into generate communitarian development.
What I like about Rice/Houston
Rice is an amazing, welcoming community where everyone can find something that helps to build and make dreams come true. It is a peaceful and beautiful university where the environment invites exploration at each level, and the campus is a wonderful place to be.
What I like about Fulbright
I love the family we are; we are supportive, diverse, active, and we are the first point of contact with new Fulbrighters at Rice. Although each of us is focused on our programs, we are connected, and having activities together makes this experience more valuable and fun.
