Hi! My name is Keanu Swart and I am a MCS student at Rice University. I was born in Windhoek, Namibia. I grew up in London, England for most of my childhood but moved to Johannesburg, South Africa when I started high school. I have a strong passion for building software and innovating with artificial intelligence. This lead me to obtaining my BSc Hons Computer Science from the University of Pretoria. Since graduating, I have been a AI Platforms Data Engineer at BMW Group. I look to extend my knowledge, build valuable software and improve my career through Rice's excellent MCS program, all thanks to Fulbright. I also have a strong passion for creating and listening to music, as well as traveling and experiencing new cultures!
