Huspi is a graduate in international relations, with a minor in international security and peace, from Universitas Brawijaya. He is currently pursuing a Master of Global Affairs at Rice University. Furthermore, Huspi’s professional experience spans key global issues, including Women, Peace, and Security (WPS); Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS); and refugee and asylum seeker affairs across Europe and the Asia-Pacific. Huspi also has a strong focus on international human rights mechanisms, particularly engagement with the UN Human Rights Council.

What I like most about Rice/Houston:

Rice feels really welcoming, and I like how diverse and lively Houston is.

What I like most about Fulbright:

Fulbright gives me a great opportunity to meet people from different places, learn from them, and experience new perspectives.

Huspi can play multiple musical instruments, including Musik Panting, a traditional instrument from South Kalimantan, Indonesia.
