I'm a Colombian mathematician doing a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I'm on a 10-month research stay at Rice University funded by Fulbright. My mathematical interests are Hopf algebras and noncommutative algebra. As for my non-math hobbies, I love to ride my bike around the city to know new places, explore the nature, meet new people and learn languages.

On Rice:

Rice is a beautiful campus with very kind people! The diversity of Houston's people and the variety of restaurants, museums, bars, etc. around the city is what I love about Houston!

On Fulbright:

The opportunity to build new friendships and international research connections is what I like most about Fulbright.

Fun Fact:

I love cycling and I'm always willing to ride to new places!
