I was raised in Cipolletti, Río Negro, a small town in Argentine Patagonia. As a teenager, I developed a passion for the social sciences while also competing as a semi-professional athlete. I dedicated most of my teenage years to athletics, eventually representing Argentina on the national team. After a knee injury forced me to change paths, I turned my focus to academics—first studying economics, then actuarial sciences.

After graduating, I spent over five years working in capital markets and consulting, where I developed a strong interest in process automation to accelerate analysis and uncover trends. This passion naturally led me into data science and artificial intelligence—fields I’m now eager to deepen my expertise in at Rice.
