What I like most about Rice/Houston

Rice University’s MBE in Applied Bioengineering is one of the top programs in the US and represents an ideal environment to advance my training. The program’s component of Cellular, Molecular and Genome Engineering & Synthetic Biology, combined with its proximity to the Texas Medical Center, offers unique opportunities to engage with cutting-edge research in biomedical innovation, cell-based therapies, and bioengineering systems.

What I like most about Fulbright

The Fulbright Program gave me an opportunity to complement my academic and professional development with a strong emphasis on cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange. Beyond excellence in academic training, Fulbright promotes the responsible application of knowledge to address global challenges while fostering mutual understanding between countries. These values align closely with my goal of applying biotechnology and bioengineering to support sustainable development in Ecuador, while building international networks that enable the transfer and adaptation of scientific innovation across diverse contexts.
