Hey there! I'm a big fan of artificial intelligence and its huge potential to help people all over the world. For that reason, I'm particularly interested in exploring the applications of AI for innovating in the design and implementation of public policies. I'm an industrial engineer turned into data scientist and had the opportunity to work alongside great people in teams involved in a wide range of AI applications, including computer vision, natural language processing and some other cool projects I'm happy to tell you more about! I'm from Argentina, thus you will most likely see me carrying my mate everywhere, most probably with a football shirt honoring our third World Cup.

What I like most about Rice:
From day one, Rice has welcomed me with great warmth. I was also astonished by the convergence of different academic fields into one single campus, which I think is one of the things I like the most of Rice.

What I like most about Fulbright:
Getting to meet people from all around the world, focused on learning and growing to foster collaboration worldwide.

Fun fact about Juan:
I've received correspondence from both the Pope and Muhammad Yunus!
