Anthony Potoczniak is the Executive Division Administrator in the Office of the Dean of Undergraduates at Rice University. He also holds the position of President of the Houston/Southeast Texas Chapter of the Fulbright Alumni Association, a regionally-based chapter serving Fulbright alumni and friends of international exchange. Anthony's Fulbright journey, which took place in 2005-2006, encompassed a year of conducting fieldwork and research in Ukraine. His research was focused on exploring the profound influence of institutional and societal changes that followed the fall of the Soviet Union on cultural heritage collections, specifically folk music sound archives. In addition to his administrative and research roles, Anthony is an Adjunct Instructor of Anthropology at Houston Community College. He is passionate about meeting new students, learning about their cultural heritage, and establishing connections with academic and international exchange communities.
