Born in Queretaro, Mexico, I graduated from Tecnologico de Monterrey as a Mechanical Engineer. From a very young age, I was exposed to a family environment deeply rooted in hands-on work, machinery, and maintenance. My relatives were either factory workers, technicians, or mechanics. Their lifestyle was not only present in the machinery workshops but also extended to my home, where almost every conversation was work-related. This upbringing introduced me to the world of engineering long before I learned to read. Growing up in such an environment meant that problem-solving, tinkering, and mechanical skills were part of my daily life. The constant interaction with such topics sowed the seeds of my passion for engineering and taught me the importance of persistence in the face of complex challenges.
Following my passion for engineering and space, I pursued a minor in aeronautics and completed an internship at GE Aerospace. After graduation, I continued my professional career at GE, where I assumed the role of Product Definition Engineer. I contributed to the design of different components and systems for aviation engines, marine engines, as well as the EPFD hybrid engine project.
Now, I seek to develop myself in a leadership role within a tech company to create opportunities for current and prospective engineers, focusing on increasing research and development roles, while promoting technological innovation within Mexico through strategic business decisions.
