My name is Aniko, and I’m from Argentina. Having lived in various places since childhood, it's challenging to pinpoint where I belong, but for the past three years, I have called San Martin de los Andes, a beautiful village in South Patagonia, Argentina, my home.
I hold a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Argentina and participated in international exchanges in Brazil and France during my studies. Over the last eleven years, I have built a career in the energy industry, working with various companies in this sector. In 2016, I earned a Master's in Geosciences and Reservoir Engineering from the French Petroleum Institute (IFP School) with support from the French and Argentinian governments. In 2023, I came to Rice University under a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a Master in Energy Economics.
My experiences across different countries and cultures have shown me the world's diversity and the immense value of these varied perspectives. I am excited to share and learn from this incredible Fulbright community!
On Rice and Houston:
What I love most about Rice is the people, along with the extensive resources and events that the university and its diverse institutes provide to enhance the academic and cultural experience for students.
On Fulbright:
Above all, what I love most about the Fulbright Program is the opportunity to connect with incredible individuals and brilliant minds from around the world. We are united by the common bond of being part of the Fulbright community, enriched by the diversity of thought and the cultural differences that make each of our contexts unique.
Fun Fact:
I'm a passionate wine lover and a devoted foodie!
