I was born in Mexico City, and at an early age, I moved to Aguascalientes, Mexico. I studied for my B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering and my specialist degree in Intelligent Robotic Systems at Universidad Panamericana, Campus Aguascalientes. There, I participated in research projects involving the development of an e-nose and a 3-unit CubeSat. During my senior year, I started working as an integrated circuits Physical Designer, where I discovered my fascination with electronics and semiconductors. Beginning Fall 2024, I will join Rice's ECE MS/PhD program. I aim to merge my passion for electronics with the development of innovative healthcare systems and open up spaces for women in STEM.

What I like about Rice/Houston:

Definitely the people! Everyone is supportive and friendly, it really feels like a community.

What I like about Fulbright:

The opportunity to meet such a terrific group of talented people from around the world.

Fun Fact about me:

I am a fashion enthusiast! When I was little, my grandma taught me how to sew and I have liked it since then.
