Esteban was born in Quito-Ecuador. He enjoys bioengineering, theater, and social entrepreneurship. Esteban obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Escuela Politécnica Nacional. However, he always focused his projects on biomedicine/biomechanics. For that reason, Esteban studies the MBE in Applied Engineering at Rice University. Eventually, he hopes to start a startup that will improve Ecuador's healthcare system.

What I like most about Rice:

I love Rice's diversity. You are also treated very well by everyone. Furthermore, I love its academic excellence.

What I like most about Fulbright:

Fulbright family gives you an incredible number of opportunities, both academically and socially. I really love that.

Fun fact:

I love theater and cinema. Someday, I will direct and act in my own movie.
