I have an undergrad and master's in mathematics and am currently studying a Ph.D. in applied mathematics on neuroengineering research. The objective is to discover brain structure properties probably linked to Disorders of Consciousness by using differential geometry tools. I've worked as a math teacher in different universities in Colombia. I love sports like tennis, cycling and trekking. I enjoy playing Go as well as different strategy board games. Always available to have spiritual conversations about the being and going one step forward to change.

What I like about Houston/Rice:

It is a perfect place to know different cultures and get the best of them to improve your life in different areas, such as academic, spiritual, family, friends, and sports activity.

What I like about Fulbright:

Fulbright is like a huge welcome letter. Here in Rice, you just mention you're a Fulbrighter, and everybody knows a really important program is sponsoring you. It's like an instant way to get involved in the Rice community.

Fun Fact:

I'm a sales catcher!
